Who we are

This privacy policy describes how Daina Jurmala Beach Hotel & SPA ("we", "us", "the hotel") collects, uses and protects personal information you share with us when you visit hoteldaina.lv, book a stay, or interact with our services.

What we collect

We collect information you actively provide (your name, email, phone, dates of stay, payment details when booking) and basic technical information your browser sends automatically (IP address, device type, pages viewed). When you opt in, we may also collect newsletter preferences and marketing consent.

Why we use it

• To process bookings and reservations
• To provide the services you request (spa appointments, conference enquiries, restaurant reservations)
• To send transactional emails (booking confirmations, check-in details)
• To send marketing emails only when you have opted in
• To analyse site usage (Google Analytics, anonymised)
• To comply with Latvian tax law and EU regulations

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can withdraw newsletter consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every marketing email. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@hoteldaina.lv. We respond within 30 days.

Data retention

Booking records are kept for 10 years to comply with Latvian tax law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is anonymised after 14 months.

Third parties

We share data only with: our booking provider (for reservation processing), payment processors (for transactions), email service Brevo (EU-based, GDPR-compliant) for newsletters, and Google Analytics for anonymised usage statistics. We never sell your data.
